Q. How do I get from the Split Airport to Split Hostel?
A. Visit www.plesoprijevoz.hr/en The cheapest way is to catch a Croatian Airlines airport shuttle bus to the city centre for 30 kuna. The buses coincide with all flights. Get off at the last stop and the hostel is approximately 300 metres away. Check exact directions under the Location tab on this site. If you wish to be picked up by a taxi/combi-van, please email email@example.com for a quote (the price depends on number of passengers).

Q. What's your cancellation policy?
A. We only accept cancellations via email 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid paying a penalty.
Q. Can you drink the tap water?
A. Yes, the tap water in Split is safe to drink
Q. Can I store my luggage at the hostel before and/or after check-in?
A. You can leave your bags with us before and after check-in.Alternatively, there is secure storage near the train/bus/ferry terminal.
Q. Can I get to the islands from Split?

Q. What are the best islands to see as a day trip from Split

Q. Is there a beach walking distance?
A. Yes, the most popular beach (Bačvice) is a 10 minute walk from the hostel.
Q. Are the dorms mixed?
A. Yes - we do not have single-sex dorms. However, it can be arranged for group bookings. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
Q. What are check-in/check-out times?
A. Check-in is at 2pm and check out is by 10am.
Q. Is there a lockout or curfew?
A. No, there is no lockout or curfew at our hostels. We just ask you to please take into consideration that our cleaning times are between 10am and 2pm and to be respectful of other guests in terms of noise between 8pm and 10am.
Q. Do you have lockers and/or a safe?
A. Yes, lockers are free of charge and located in the dorms. We also have a safe deposit box for any other valuables that may need to stored.
Q. Are bed linens/towels included?
A. Yes, we provide all linen - we have a no sleeping bag policy at the hostel for sanitary reasons. Towels are available for rent at reception for 10kn
Q. What about confirmation of reservation?
A. Once you have booked your bed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure to check all the folders in your email account, as well as spam and junk email, etc.
Q. What is my personal information used for?
A. We do not use your personal information for anything other than for our accommodation/tourist statistics purposes.
Q. Do I get student/membership discounts?
A. If you have a BBH (Balkans Best Hostels) flyer, you will receive a 10% discount. Unfortunately, we do not give discounts for any type of ISIC, under 26, or HI cardholder.
Q. Is there parking available?
A. Meter parking and car parks are available around town. You can also find small streets close by that have free parking. Make sure to read street signage so you are not shocked in the morning when your car is not there.
